VISIONS OF HIS FEET... He says, “Walk in My footsteps. I tread a path for you. I go before you. Take up your cross and follow Me. Turn your back on the world and all its lusts, and keep your eyes fixed upon Me. Will I not lead you into paths of righteousness for My name’s sake? Only follow Me. You are not alone on this road. You are surrounded on every side. “
“My feet drip with oil and gold. My path is anointed and rich with blessing.”
Liquid Gold = Anointing. My new favorite color is GOLD.
As I see suffering on this road which He calls me on, He says, “The pain you suffer on this road cannot compare to the pleasures of My anointing. Your suffering should be counted as pure joy… it’s a part of this anointing, this walk in My footsteps. I will make the pain a pleasure in glory.”
He says, “See My feet?” I see. Then I see His glowing footprints through this age of darkness. He says, “Walk where I walk, and you will not fall into the pits. You will not be led astray. You will not walk in sin, nor be plundered by the darkness. You will never lose your way.”
I see His footprints glowing in the darkness. I cannot get lost. Anointing oil and liquid gold seep from the soles of His feet, leaving shinning bright footprints through this darkness. He leaves them for me to walk in, for me to find… they are my map to navigate through this fallen world.
“Walk where I walk and do what I do. Follow My feet.”
As you walk in His footprints which are puddles of anointing oil and liquid gold. Your feet become anointed as this anointing oil and liquid gold saturate your feet. But if you stray from His footsteps and from the path He tread for you, the anointing and gold will rub off, wear off and your feet will dry up. There is no anointing on the dry ground of this world, only in His footsteps.
“Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me”. Psalm 23:1
He is our Shepherd leading us through the valley of the shadow of death.
Luke 10:39-40 explains how Mary sat at Jesus’ feet to learn from Him. His feet is the place of learning and guidance. This is how we follow His footprints. We must sit at His feet, submitting and listening to Him.
Mary forsook all to sit there. She suffered persecution from other Christians (her sister Martha) for wasting time at Jesus’ feet when there was so much important and necessary things to be done. There were important things to be done, but nothing is more important than sitting at the feet of Jesus.
The Lord Jesus said to Martha, “'Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
Let go of this life. Give this life in return for eternal life. Do not be distracted from the Secret Place anymore. What is the Secret Place? It is private communication with God in a place that is closed off to the world and other people. A place where you surrender yourself utterly and completely to Him.
Rip yourself away from this world and the desires of your flesh in order to give yourself over to God. Do you understand why the love of this world is equal to adultery against God? We give ourselves, our time and attention to the world instead of to God. Even things that seem important must be set aside, and the Lord enthroned over them. He is a jealous God.
